NHS children's speech and language therapy service for children aged 0-19 in Southend-on-Sea, Castle Point and Rochford, provided by Essex Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust (EPUT). Offers specialist assessment, diagnosis and treatment for speech sound difficulties, language delay and disorder, social communication needs, stammering, voice disorders and eating/drinking difficulties. Uses the Balanced System framework. Support line staffed by qualified SLT Mon-Fri 9:30-11:30am. Pre-school referrals via health professional; school-age via school.
